Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role:Perform periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.Stock units with office and medical supplies; prepare requisitions to maintain par levels.Receive shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.Answer the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.Complete clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.Process outgoing mail.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and Requirements:Education: High School Diploma PreferredSkills:Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.Schedule: Full Time: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMCenterpoint Health - Winchester Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
