Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing TechnicianResponsibilitiesOperate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC machines, lathes, and mills to meet daily and long-term production goals.Set up machines for various production runs, including configuring parameters and verifying correct operation before starting production.Perform routine tooling changes and changeovers to support different parts and product lines.Carry out calibrations and setups to ensure machines produce parts within required tolerances.Conduct in-process inspections by measuring parts such as diameters, depths, and grooves to verify compliance with blueprints and specifications.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining and inspection.Monitor product quality throughout the production run and make necessary adjustments to maintain specification standards.Perform routine Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities on equipment to keep machines in optimal working condition.Clear jams and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize unplanned downtime.Monitor and maintain proper levels of machine fluids, including oil and coolant, and report any abnormalities.Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and collaborate with maintenance personnel on repairs when needed.Use hand tools and mechanical skills to perform basic maintenance repairs and adjustments.Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.Document production and inspection activities as required by internal procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanically inclined with a strong interest in equipment operation and maintenance.Comfort working with preventive maintenance practices and procedures.Capability to support maintenance repairs under guidance from maintenance or engineering staff.Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment, processes, and technologies in a manufacturing setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, KY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
