If you have experience with lathes, mills, blueprints, tooling, and mechanical systems, this is an excellent opportunity to join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferredTechnical training in machining, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance is a plusAbility to read blueprints, technical documents, and process instructionsExperience RequirementsMinimum 3 years of manufacturing or machining experience requiredExperience with lathes, mills, tooling, and machine setupAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentationStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExperience using precision measuring instruments and gaugesKnowledge of G-code adjustments and machining processes preferredStrong communication skills and ability to assist in training production personnelJob DutiesPerform machine changeovers, setups, and tooling replacementsInstall and adjust tools, fixtures, jigs, and gaugesTroubleshoot machining and production issuesVerify setup accuracy and support quality requirementsMonitor tool life and coordinate tooling changesMake minor edits to G-code programs, speeds, feeds, and machine parametersSupport engineering during tooling trials and new product launchesAssist maintenance and production teams with machine repairs and recovery effortsTrain operators on setup procedures and process improvementsMaintain setup documentation and communicate process concernsPromote continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce wasteSupport TPM activities and production operations as neededPhysical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and work around manufacturing equipment throughout the shiftFrequent lifting of tooling, fixtures, and machine componentsAbility to safely operate hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipmentComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentIf you're an experienced Machine Setup Technician, Machinist, CNC Setup Operator, Lathe Operator, Mill Operator, or Manufacturing Technician, apply now!
