As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial stepsPerform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practicesApplying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment processVerifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work orderOperate and maintain service vehicles and equipmentCompleting production forms documenting services providedInteracting with customers and explaining services providedEssential Job Functions:Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locationsPrepare the job site for treatmentEnter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and laddersYou need to be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder along with working in small confined spaces.General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is plusAbility to work on a roofs and high areasLots of moving around — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and polesYou’ll need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator, and you’ll need to be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways (anywhere the critters live)What do you need?Clean shaven face- for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)High school diploma or GEDMust pass pre-employment background screenValid driver’s license/clean driving record (Company vehicle and gas card provided)At least 1 years of customer service, experience in termite control is a plusStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnBe flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as neededLicenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
