Termite Technician Responsibilities Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications that may be supplemental to the treatment process Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment Complete production forms documenting services provided Interact with customers and explain services provided Essential Job Functions Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations Prepare the job site for treatment Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders Be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus Ability to work on roofs and high areas Move frequently—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and moving up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and be comfortable working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways Qualifications Clean shaven face (for safety reasons, rebreathers must seal the face) High school diploma or GED Must pass a pre‑employment background screen Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle and gas card provided) At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Flexibility with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us) Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels Pay Range Hourly: $17.00 – $23.00 Benefits Day‑1 enrollment with benefits for eligible full‑time colleagues Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company matching Vacation days, sick days, company‑paid holidays, and floating holidays Professional and personal growth opportunities, including training, development programs, and tuition reimbursement for full‑time colleagues Work‑life balance initiatives and safety‑first culture This company is a drug‑free workplace and is an equal opportunity employer under applicable federal, state, and local laws, including commitments to qualified individuals with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
