This position works 3.5 hours per day. Pay rate is $17.28 - $21.18 per hour. Paid sick leave earned, personal days. This position is not eligible for insurance benefits. Opportunities for advancement.

Job Description: The cook prepares food according to the menu using established district recipes.

Key Functions:

• Portions food and prepare cafeteria line for serving.
• Serves students and staff from the cafeteria line.
• Learns prices and government lunch pattern.
• Learns and operates cash register. Follow the district money-handling procedures.
• Cleans kitchen equipment, trays, utensils, and table and chairs in the dining area as directed by head cook or supervisor.
• Learns and operates all kitchen and dish room equipment.
• Follows proper sanitation procedures.
• Performs related duties as assigned including duties at special meal functions.
