We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality workmanship on all automotive services.

*Duties*

* Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles, utilizing advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
* Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
* Execute alignment services and ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used for each vehicle.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and quality.
* Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and diesel engine repair techniques.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during repairs.

*Qualifications*

* Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required; dealership experience is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics.
* Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus; experience with auto estimating is also beneficial.
* Proficient in using diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle performance and identify issues accurately.
* Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals related to automotive systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service to customers.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
