Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Department Registered Nurse position available in Torrance, California. This role involves providing high-quality care to obstetric patients, supporting delivery and postpartum care, and working within a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The position requires flexibility to support night shifts, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient safety.

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: California licensed Registered Nurse (RN), minimum 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D), current ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP certifications, experience in managing low and high risk labor patients, neonatal and mother-baby care, ability to float to postpartum or mother-baby units, excellent clinical skills in obstetric and neonatal procedures, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Precepting skills, strong caregiver support skills, flexible scheduling over weekends, and experience supporting high-acuity obstetric patients.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to support weekend shifts as per contract, and able to support open units including postpartum and newborn care. Candidates should be prepared to float between units and support various obstetric and neonatal procedures, including cesarean sections, postpartum hemorrhage management, and fetal monitoring.
