Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Flexible schedule for weekends required. Precepting skills preferred. Ability to float between like units. Ability to accommodate block schedule, as per manager discretion. Description: We are seeking a strong caregiver to support the night shift in Labor and Delivery. Must have experience in acute care settings. Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience. Experience with patient ratios of 2 is required. Candidates with previous charge experience are preferred. Charting experience with Epic is required. Experience with low and high-risk labor patients is important. Candidates should be comfortable with various labor and delivery procedures, including cesarean sections and postpartum care. Skills such as administration of blood products, monitoring fetal heart rates, and managing high-risk deliveries are essential. The position requires supporting a daily census of approximately 210 patients. Travel experience is necessary. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays. References from the last three years covering one year of experience are required. All candidates should be prepared to float between facilities as needed. Additional training modules must be completed prior to the start of employment. All necessary communication devices for the role will be provided at no cost. Compliance with health and safety protocols, including current knowledge of COVID-19 procedures, is essential. Candidates should exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams.
