Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Position

• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities :

• Care for mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal condition using external/internal fetal monitoring.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate/recover C-sections.
• Provide newborn care, APGAR assessments, and neonatal resuscitation.
• Administer medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, insulin drips, and blood products.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies, obstetric emergencies, postpartum hemorrhage, and pre-eclampsia.
• Perform IV therapy, maintain central lines, and assist with obstetric procedures.
• Float to Mother/Baby (Postpartum) unit as needed.

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Active California RN License .
• Epic charting experience.
• Travel experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM in lieu of AWHONN Advanced).
• Must be able to circulate/recover C-sections, perform NSTs, apply FSE/IUPC, and provide newborn care.
