Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative Trainee will be learning all aspects of customer service including:
- Shipping and Receiving
- Product look-up
- Inquiry quotation
- Problem solving
- Training in cutting tools, bearings and power transmission, pump parts, and pump applications
- Working with reports
- Daily work duties completed in a timely fashion
- May be needed to support other DXP locations
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative Trainee include, but are not limited to:
- Learning all aspects of Customer Service
- Shipping and Receiving
- Product look-up
- Inquiry quotation
- Problem solving
- Training in cutting tools, bearings and power transmission, pump parts, and pump applications
- Working with reports
- Completing daily work duties in a timely fashion
- Supporting other DXP locations as needed
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
Qualifications
Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative Trainee include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to type and navigate a computer and the internet
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous sales and customer service experience preferred
- Strong data entry, organizational, and multitasking skills
Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
Working Conditions: Office/Warehouse Environment
Shift Time/Overtime: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Location: USA:CA:Rancho Cucamonga
DXP offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time regular employees, normally working a minimum of 30 hours per week, including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, and additional supplemental benefits. All employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
