Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative Trainee will be learning all aspects of customer service including:

• Shipping and Receiving
• Product look-up
• Inquiry quotation
• Problem solving
• Training in cutting tools, bearings and power transmission, pump parts, and pump applications
• Working with reports
• Daily work duties completed in a timely fashion
• May be needed to support other DXP locations

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative Trainee include, but are not limited to:

• Learning all aspects of Customer Service
• Shipping and Receiving
• Product look-up
• Inquiry quotation
• Problem solving
• Training in cutting tools, bearings and power transmission, pump parts, and pump applications
• Working with reports
• Completing daily work duties in a timely fashion
• Supporting other DXP locations as needed
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area

Qualifications

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative Trainee include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to type and navigate a computer and the internet
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous sales and customer service experience preferred
• Strong data entry, organizational, and multitasking skills

Additional Information

• Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
• Physical Demand: N/A
• Working Conditions: Office/Warehouse Environment
• Training/Certifications: N/A
• Shift Time/Overtime: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed
• Travel: N/A
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required 

Location: USA:CA:Rancho Cucamonga
