Schedule Coordinator – Dental Office

Carlyle, IL
$18–$24 per hour (based on experience)
4 Days Per Week | Full-Time

Are you organized, friendly, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Hyten Dental is seeking a Schedule Coordinator to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our patients.

This position plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience by managing our schedule efficiently, answering phones professionally, and ensuring patients feel welcomed and cared for from their very first interaction with our office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the daily doctor and hygiene schedules
• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner
• Schedule appointments and assist patients with appointment needs
• Complete new patient intake and registration processes
• Send and track specialist referrals
• Confirm appointments and assist with schedule optimization
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Help create a welcoming and positive environment for every patient

What We're Looking For

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional, friendly, and positive attitude
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment
• Previous dental or medical office experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with scheduling and phone communication is a plus
