Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patient needs and determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Administer one-on-one therapy sessions, typically treating 1-2 patients per hour, while employing a hands-on approach to physical therapy.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to enhance movement and promote pain management.
• Continuously adapt and update individualized treatment plans based on ongoing patient progress and clinical outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately using WebPT software while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other medical professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to synchronize care efforts and optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population experiencing orthopedic issues, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise in rehabilitation will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, fostering their autonomy and resilience. You will develop and implement treatment strategies that are tailored not just to injury types but to individual lifestyle needs and goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated ability to employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT, is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
