Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite, allowing for direct interactions with patients and collaboration with fellow healthcare providers. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Effectively assess and identify patients' goals, tailoring treatment strategies to meet their individual requirements.
• Manage a manageable caseload with a focus on providing personalized sessions—averaging one patient per hour—to foster close patient relationships and ongoing evaluations.
• Design and execute comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various interventions aimed at reducing pain, enhancing mobility, and improving overall physical function.
• Implement cost-effective treatment methodologies to decrease reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Motivate and guide patients through engaging therapeutic exercises and wellness programs tailored to promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals—including physicians and other therapists—to create a well-rounded approach to each patient's care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes with precision, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT to ensure accurate records.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and treatment effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to maximize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your ability to create individualized care plans will be pivotal in helping patients regain their pre-injury levels of functionality and quality of life. Building rapport with patients, you will be able to motivate them through potentially challenging rehabilitation journeys, making their recovery a shared goal.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California is mandatory.
• An impeccable professional history with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR software, especially WebPT, will be advantageous for this role.

Preferred Experience

We ask for a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, particularly within orthopedic outpatient settings. Familiarity with sports medicine principles and a track record of successfully implementing treatment plans that enhance recovery are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
