Our primary patient demographic consists of individuals with private medical insurance, allowing for a greater focus on personalized treatment plans.

Work Environment

The work environment at our Oakland facility is supportive and dynamic, designed to foster both patient recovery and professional growth. As a Physical Therapist on our team, you will work directly with patients in an onsite outpatient office setting, where each hour is dedicated to accommodating one patient at a time. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured routine that allows for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their needs, goals, and functional capabilities.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, strength training, and stretching exercises.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to promote recovery, improve mobility, and restore function, while minimizing the reliance on medication.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices to facilitate long-term wellness.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring accurate and timely records for compliance and continuity of care.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey, providing encouragement and practical advice to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and facilitate comprehensive treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, without any board or disciplinary actions against it.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in designing effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, to document patient care accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients and a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in developing patient-specific wellness programs that promote lifelong health and fitness.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, complemented by a robust benefits package which includes health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
