Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at maximizing recovery and improving mobility.
• Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and aquatic therapy sessions.
• Continuously assess patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and technology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case discussions to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and self-management strategies.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with adult patients who have sustained various orthopedic injuries, whether due to sports activities, workplace accidents, or chronic conditions. Your patients may include individuals preparing for or recovering from surgery, athletes needing rehabilitation to return to their sport, and patients learning to manage long-term pain. You will employ a compassionate approach to address both their physical rehabilitation needs and the psychological aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid California Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation practices and methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy preferred, with a focus on manual therapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation.
• Experience working in aquatic therapy settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
