Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology. Our team consists of highly trained professionals—including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant—dedicated to providing individualized treatment plans. Our primary focus is on patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to maintain a high standard of personalized care.

Work Environment

This role is onsite in our outpatient office located in San Francisco. You will benefit from a collaborative team environment where clinicians support one another to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services. The practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a balanced work-life commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand and document the goals and needs of your patients.
• Manage a typical patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention for effective treatment outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Utilize a range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Empower patients to make informed choices about their care, minimizing reliance on medications and exploring alternative non-surgical treatments.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey to optimize their functional abilities.
• Work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate treatment efficacy, monitor patient progress, and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily engage with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, focusing on enhancing their physical capabilities and overall quality of life. Our patient demographic includes active individuals who are motivated to return to their pre-injury level of activity. By addressing injury prevention, rehabilitation, and wellness, you will play a crucial role in their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in developing effective exercise programs suitable for various patient conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, including WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a focus on rehabilitation.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing personalized treatment plans that improve patient outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
