Our facility features state-of-the-art technology and encompasses 5,000 square feet, providing an ideal environment for sports medicine and rehabilitation interventions. Our team comprises experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, who work collaboratively to ensure every patient receives quality care.

Work Environment

This position is conducted onsite within our expansive rehabilitation facility in San Francisco. You will work in a lively and supportive environment, directly interacting with patients and collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals. Our schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life atmosphere while affording you the ability to make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their functional limitations and establish treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and focused attention to each case.
• Design and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Promote cost-effective treatment options that enhance patient mobility, minimizing reliance on pain medications or surgical interventions.
• Utilize strong manual therapy skills to address specific musculoskeletal issues and improve patient outcomes.
• Develop individualized fitness and wellness programs, incorporating patient-specific goals to enhance their overall health.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring cohesive patient care and treatment continuity.
• Educate patients on exercises and lifestyle modifications to encourage active participation in their rehabilitation.
• Evaluate and interpret treatment results, maintaining open and effective communication with patients throughout their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment services and patient interactions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy and the development of effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including WebPT, to streamline patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective patient engagement.
• Experience in developing and customizing rehabilitation programs focused on promoting independence and functional mobility.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
