Our spacious 5000-square-foot sports medicine facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, enabling us to provide exceptional care specifically tailored for patients with orthopedic needs. Work Environment

The role is structured in an onsite environment, predominantly working within our outpatient office alongside a dedicated team comprised of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our office operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and establish individualized treatment plans focused on achieving specific recovery goals.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient delivery of care while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities that enhance patient mobility and reduce reliance on medications or surgeries.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans as dictated by patient outcomes.
• Develop and conduct tailored exercise regimens, promoting strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment protocols, and progress in EMR systems like WebPT to maintain accurate healthcare records.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care interventions and communicate effectively regarding patient progress.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them achieve their health and fitness objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves a diverse clientele with orthopedic concerns, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, ongoing pain management, and preventive rehabilitation. Many of our patients are covered by private medical insurance, allowing access to superior care. As a Physical Therapist at Queen Tower Recovery Center, you will have the opportunity to work closely with each individual, fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships that empower patients to take charge of their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current California state license for physical therapy with no disciplinary actions or board actions in your record.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in developing effective exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient environment, showcasing a solid understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by this patient demographic.
• Familiarity with best practices in physical therapy interventions and the latest developments in sports medicine.

Compensation and Benefits
