The Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, CA. Our 5,000 square-foot sports medicine center is designed to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients, offering advanced technologies alongside skilled rehabilitation services. Our team, which includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, prides itself on delivering personalized care tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing for direct and meaningful interactions with our patients within a supportive and collaborative team environment. Our clinic is equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and a warm atmosphere designed to foster healing and recovery. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients and understanding their specific health needs by conducting thorough assessments and screenings.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that encompass a variety of evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Delivering one-on-one, hands-on therapy sessions and managing a patient load of approximately one patient per hour.
• Utilizing advanced systems such as EMR platforms like WebPT to document patient progress and treatment plans meticulously.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitoring patient outcomes, adjusting treatments as necessary, and maintaining clear communication regarding their progress with both patients and caregivers.
• Promoting preventative care strategies and educating patients on lifestyle modifications to enhance their overall well-being.
• Encouraging patient motivation and adherence to rehabilitation goals, fostering a supportive environment throughout their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus at Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is on patients with diverse orthopedic issues, including post-operative rehabilitation and injury recovery. We primarily serve clients with private medical insurance, enabling us to provide personalized care without constraint. Our approach aims to minimize reliance on medications and to offer viable alternatives to surgical intervention, ensuring that every patient receives the attention and care they deserve.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and clean license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No disciplinary actions or board action against their professional license.
• Strong foundational knowledge and experience in manual therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences are highly preferred:

• Proven experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, ensuring familiarity with common conditions and recovery protocols.
• Demonstrated proficiency in preparing and supervising exercise regimens tailored to individual patients' recovery paths.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, is advantageous for maintaining accurate patient records.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
