We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Vitality Empower Physical Therapy. In this role, you will be essential in partnering with patients to help them regain mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating and treating a diverse population of patients with varying orthopedic needs, all within the supportive and collaborative environment of our outpatient facility.

Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine environment equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies. As a physical therapy-owned practice, we pride ourselves on delivering personalized treatment plans and fostering an engaging atmosphere that prioritizes patient recovery and satisfaction.

Work Environment

Our outpatient office operates in a vibrant and modern setting designed to facilitate the best patient care. You will collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) to create a supportive atmosphere where professionals thrive. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals, limitations, and needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, providing personalized care and ensuring optimal therapeutic interventions.
• Design and implement tailored treatment programs to improve patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and develop exercise protocols that suit the unique requirements of each patient.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to achieve their personal health and activity goals.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans as needed based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress made.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice predominantly serves individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring access to high-quality physical therapy services. You will work with a diverse group of patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals seeking rehabilitation for chronic conditions. Your commitment to enhancing their physical capabilities will significantly contribute to their health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Valid California license as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintained an excellent professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques coupled with knowledge of therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional competence in developing and executing customized exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR Software, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable and will enhance your application.
• Demonstrated ability to promote patient engagement and adherence to treatment protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
