Work Environment

This position is firmly rooted in our outpatient office, where you will work alongside a diverse team of health professionals including physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and administrative staff. The office is designed to foster teamwork and open communication, with a layout that promotes patient interaction and engagement. Our team benefits from a Monday to Friday work schedule, with hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while providing the highest level of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients, creating individualized treatment plans based on their specific orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, encompassing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and other interventions to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, postural awareness, ergonomics, and self-management techniques tailored to their lifestyle or occupational needs.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery outcomes, while ensuring accurate documentation in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate effectively with referring physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary care teams, to ensure continuity and integration of patient care across the healthcare spectrum.
• Engage actively in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and support colleagues.
• Mentor and guide Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), aides, or student interns as appropriate, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development among the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those managing chronic pain conditions. By understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient, you will adapt your approach to meet their specific needs, contributing to a supportive and empathetic healing environment.

Qualifications

• Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and experience treating sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in managing chronic pain with evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits program.
