Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, located in the vibrant city of Oakland, California. Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in our well-appointed Oakland facility. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a stable and predictable schedule that allows for a great work-life balance. Our clinic is designed to promote a healing atmosphere, with dedicated therapy spaces equipped for various rehabilitation needs. You will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, sharing insights and strategies to deliver the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and individual requirements for rehabilitation.
• Manage a personalized caseload, typically handling one patient per hour, to ensure quality care and attention.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatment plans that focus on improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to facilitate recovery while promoting alternatives to medication and surgical interventions.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs tailored specifically to the unique needs of each patient.
• Foster a supportive environment that motivates patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them achieve optimal functionality.
• Collaborate and liaise with external healthcare professionals to ensure Comprehensive and holistic care for each patient.
• Maintain patient documentation with precision, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to optimize results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base predominantly includes individuals with orthopedic concerns, often referred by private medical insurance. Clients may range from post-operative patients seeking rehabilitation to athletes requiring targeted therapy to enhance performance. The diverse nature of our patient demographics allows you to apply a wide array of techniques and modalities catered to various injury types and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• Valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Impeccable professional record with no history of board or disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy and exercise protocol development.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Knowledge of alternative therapies and a holistic approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
