Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Oakland, California. We specialize in treating patients with private medical insurance, which allows us to provide tailored, personalized therapy experiences. Work Environment

Your role will be based onsite in our outpatient clinic, equipped with modern treatment rooms and rehabilitation areas that cater to various therapeutic modalities. The work schedule is set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing a consistent rhythm for both team collaboration and patient appointments. You will be working alongside a cohesive team comprised of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring a cooperative and professional atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's physical abilities, limitations, and therapeutic goals.
• Create tailored treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and modalities aimed at pain management and functional recovery.
• Manage an efficient patient load, typically accommodating one patient per hour to ensure optimal care and attention.
• Implement evidence-based practices while continuously monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes and improvements.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and strategies to enhance mobility and prevent further injuries.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to deliver a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Advise on wellness programs focused on improving overall strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Engage actively with patients, motivating them throughout their treatment process to achieve their functional goals.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid and active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No history of disciplinary actions or board measures against your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and patient care management.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience working in an orthopedic outpatient clinic.
• Demonstrated ability in developing customized exercise programs tailored to patients' specific needs and goals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and staff.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
