Work Environment

Our Oakland office presents a warm and welcoming environment designed for outpatient therapy. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy care for each patient, focusing on their unique goals and challenges to enhance recovery.
• Conduct thorough assessments to establish baseline levels of function and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing various modalities and techniques that suit patients' needs, including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
• Monitor each patient's progression regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure continuous improvement.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment plans, motivating them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of each patient visit using EMR software, such as Web PT, to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Advocate for non-surgical alternatives and promote healthy lifestyle changes that encompass strength training, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Stay current with the latest research and techniques in physical therapy to continually enhance your knowledge and skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults and athletes recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic pain conditions. Our patient population values a rehabilitation approach that emphasizes improvement without excessive reliance on medications or invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• Current active Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in outpatient orthopedic care as well as proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Strong ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate documentation.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed of advancements in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic is highly desired, especially working with athletes or post-surgical patients.
• A background in sports medicine or injury rehabilitation will be considered a strong plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
