Work Environment

Working within our home care setting, the Physical Therapist will engage directly with patients in a supportive and innovative environment that prioritizes their well-being. The center features modern treatment areas and the latest therapeutic technologies, enabling therapists to deliver effective interventions. Your day will typically follow a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balance between work and personal life while ensuring comprehensive care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify the rehabilitation goals and requirements of patients, creating customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Manage a designated patient load, ensuring efficient care delivery with a focus on maximizing treatment effectiveness.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that include manual therapy, exercise regimens, and other therapeutic modalities aimed at enhancing movement and reducing pain.
• Educate patients about their conditions and motivate them to participate actively in their healing process, promoting adherence to treatment plans.
• Continuously assess patient progress, documenting treatment results and adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including other physical therapists and assistants, to provide integrated care for complex cases.
• Conduct regular assessments of treatment efficacy, adjusting strategies based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communication through EMR systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Emphasize preventive care by promoting physical fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing patients' quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on orthopedic outpatient care, accommodating individuals seeking recovery from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain. Our diverse patient demographic includes athletes, post-surgical patients, and those referred for rehabilitation from primary care providers. Your role will be instrumental in guiding these clients on their path to recovery through individualized assessments and targeted therapy regimens.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with a clean record and no disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of three years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective therapeutic strategies on a per-patient basis.
• Experience in collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and integrated care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, and a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, and professional development opportunities.
