Work Environment

At our rehabilitation facility, you will find a supportive and inclusive work environment that emphasizes teamwork and innovation. You will be joining a close-knit team comprised of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Our regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. The onsite work setting offers you the advantage of direct interaction with patients in a modern therapeutic environment designed for optimal healing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their treatment goals and develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
• Manage an efficient patient load with a standard of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused attention and care.
• Employ a range of evidence-based treatments and therapeutic techniques to improve movement, strength, and overall functionality.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and design exercise programs tailored to meet the unique requirements of each patient.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and patient outcomes, adhering to compliance standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient rehabilitation and care.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and beneficial self-management strategies.
• Motivate and encourage patients to remain engaged in their recovery process, fostering a positive rehabilitative atmosphere.
• Regularly assess treatment efficacy, modifying strategies as necessary to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions requiring outpatient rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean record without disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and patient assessment methodologies.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient physiotherapy settings.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens.
• Knowledge of current trends and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
