Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed to foster healing and effectiveness, outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and a team of experienced healthcare professionals. You will work alongside nursing staff, occupational therapists, and administrative personnel in our onsite clinic, where a collaborative atmosphere prioritizes open communication and patient-centered care. Flexible work hours allow for a conducive work-life balance, with shifts typically ranging from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored, one-on-one physical therapy sessions to patients, focusing on their unique goals, recovery plans, and improving their motion capabilities.
• Evaluate patients' needs and develop comprehensive care plans that include various treatment modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Maintain an appropriate patient load to ensure dedicated attention and high-quality care while fostering a supportive rapport with each client.
• Implement cost-effective treatments that reduce the necessity for surgical interventions and pharmacological solutions, advocating for non-invasive rehabilitation therapies.
• Integrate innovative evidence-based approaches to facilitate optimal patient outcomes, ensuring that your methods are informed by the latest research and best practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, utilizing EMR systems like WebPT to keep detailed records that inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys, promoting a focus on wellness, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care pathways and share insights regarding patient treatment and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapy services at Body Holistics primarily concentrate on outpatient clients, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals managing chronic pain conditions, and those in need of post-operative rehabilitation. You will work with a diverse group of patients, requiring a deep understanding of orthopedic conditions and the specific demands of each individual's recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in California with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in developing effective therapeutic exercise programs.
• Skilled in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate and efficient documentation.
• In-depth understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices supported by ongoing research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a busy outpatient physical therapy setting with an emphasis on orthopedic care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with specialized rehabilitation programs for various sports injuries can enhance your candidacy.
• Ability to create and implement rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual patient progress will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with educational qualifications and prior experience.
