Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at East Valley Rehab Center, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities including:

• Directing and overseeing comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans as prescribed by physicians to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore functionality through individualized approaches.
• Managing and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring the accurate implementation of care plans while adhering to applicable state laws.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities using advanced diagnostic techniques to formulate appropriate treatment strategies.
• Assessing home environments, making recommendations to enhance client independence and facilitate effective rehabilitation.
• Delivering manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, administering treatments using physical agents, and providing hands-on assistance and motivation to clients.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team during case conferences to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the best outcomes for clients.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, complying with all documentation requirements as per regulatory standards.
• Ensuring timely submission of clinical documentation and payroll records, and effectively communicating with clients, families, and agency personnel about treatment plans and progress.
• Leading educational sessions for clients and families regarding physical therapy procedures, training them on the use and care of therapeutic devices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of California, with no restrictions.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license, along with automobile insurance, to facilitate patient home visits when necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, clients, and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or home care setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
