We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at the Spine and Joint Rehab Center, located in the heart of San Francisco, California. Spine and Joint Rehab Center is a privately-owned orthopedic outpatient facility dedicated to providing top-quality rehabilitation services. Our state-of-the-art facility spans over 5,000 square feet and features the latest in sports medicine equipment. We pride ourselves on a patient-centric approach, focusing on individualized care that caters to the diverse needs of our clients. Our professional team includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to offering exceptional therapeutic services to primarily privately insured patients.

Work Environment

This role will take place onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, which is designed to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., promoting a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' individual goals and needs, developing effective treatment plans tailored to their conditions.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, averaging one patient per hour to ensure focused, high-quality care.
• Deliver a range of treatment modalities aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function.
• Emphasize cost-effective treatment that supports patients in reducing reliance on medications and circumventing surgical procedures whenever possible.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs to facilitate recovery and promote long-term health.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide treatments, continually monitoring and adjusting care strategies based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient treatments and outcomes, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.
• Foster motivation in patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to enhance their commitment to the recovery process.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for each patient's recovery.
• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment outcomes and communicate effectively with patients and other stakeholders regarding their progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals dealing with orthopedic issues, which may range from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Serving a diverse client base, we address a wide variety of conditions utilizing a holistic approach that emphasizes physical and emotional recovery. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Applicants must have a clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise protocols is essential.
• Experience in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Evidence of further certifications in specialized treatment techniques or modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
