As a member of our team, you'll join two other skilled physical therapists and a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a supportive environment focused on excellence in patient outcomes.

Work Environment

Operated within a rehabilitation facility, you will engage with patients in a hands-on manner in our well-equipped therapy rooms. The regular work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent routine with evenings and weekends free for personal pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify individual needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions.
• Provide direct care and education to 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on promoting mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Utilize various rehabilitation techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities appropriate for orthopedic conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Support patients in adopting healthy lifestyle changes that promote physical fitness, coordination, balance, and flexibility.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they remain engaged and informed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Sigma Spine and Joint Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population seeking treatment for orthopedic issues. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal concerns. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions on your license history.
• Excellent manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercises.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is essential.
• Previous experience with patient education and lifestyle modification strategies will be advantageous.
• Ability to employ a variety of treatment modalities and techniques effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this rewarding position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
