Our practice specializes in orthopedic therapy, primarily serving patients with private medical insurance. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art 5000-square-foot sports medicine facility, designed specifically to facilitate optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Work Environment

This role will be hosted in our vibrant and welcoming outpatient office, where you will have access to modern equipment and resources essential for effective treatment. Working onsite, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team, which includes two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The office operates with a patient-centric approach, ensuring quality care and comprehensive attention to the individual needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical abilities, tailoring treatment plans that address specific medical needs and optimize recovery outcomes.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring thorough and personalized attention during each therapy session.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities to enhance patients' mobility and function, including manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, drawing from evidence-based practices that support patient progress and wellbeing.
• Minimize the reliance on medications by providing holistic and alternative therapeutic solutions.
• Inspire and motivate patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, promoting a healthy lifestyle through tailored fitness and wellness programs.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed to ensure the best possible care.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes through integrated care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. They seek personalized therapy solutions to restore functionality and enhance their quality of life. By focusing on recovery and prevention, you will contribute meaningfully to the lives of clients who expect a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to qualify for this role.
• Certification and a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions or license suspensions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapies and exercise science.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience successfully managing patient caseloads and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
