Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite work at our outpatient office in San Francisco. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' needs through thorough examinations, identifying movement deficiencies and specific therapeutic goals.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans using a variety of treatment techniques, aimed at restoring motion and enhancing overall functionality.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring comprehensive records that support ongoing treatment and reimbursement processes.
• Utilize effective manual therapy techniques and exercise programs to alleviate pain and promote recovery.
• Maintain a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and care.
• Provide education and support to patients, motivating them to adhere to their therapy regimens and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our interdisciplinary team, sharing updates and strategies that align with patient care goals.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle, including proactive recommendations for strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice predominantly serves patients with private medical insurance, ranging from sports-related injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your patients, understanding their unique situations and customizing treatment to meet their specific needs. This patient-focused framework prioritizes recovery while fostering a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of physical therapy practices.
• Possesses an active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in California, with a clean record free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Exhibits exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques, showcasing a deep understanding of the physical therapy field.
• Skilled in designing and executing personalized exercise programs, capable of adapting these to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, notably WebPT, to enhance patient care documentation and tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy environment, enhancing the ability to navigate common patient pathways effectively.
• A strong background in sports rehabilitation or injury prevention strategies would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
