Empower-Self Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in San Francisco, California. In this rewarding role, you will partner with patients to restore their mobility and functionality while enhancing their quality of life. You will play a crucial role in a rehabilitation setting, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation for individuals dealing with orthopedic issues.

Empower-Self Physical Therapy is a physical therapist-owned outpatient practice that specializes in providing high-quality rehabilitation services. Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is equipped with advanced technology and resources to support individuals covered by private medical insurance. Our dedicated team consists of two seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of San Francisco, our rehabilitation center offers a welcoming and collaborative environment. As a therapist, you will work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, engaging directly with patients in a supportive atmosphere designed for recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient goals and requirements, creating tailored treatment plans to achieve optimal recovery.
• Manage a specific patient caseload of one patient per hour, providing personalized attention and care during each interaction.
• Utilize evidenced-based interventions and clinically proven methodologies to implement treatment strategies that improve patients' movement capabilities.
• Develop and administer fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of every patient, focusing on building strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.
• Document all patient care services accurately, ensuring that treatment outcomes are evaluated, and progress is monitored effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, encouraging their engagement and motivation throughout the treatment process.
• Focus on reducing the reliance on medications by exploring alternative treatment methods and surgery-free interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions referred for rehabilitation after injuries or surgeries. You will work closely with individuals focused on improving their quality of life through movement, encompassing a wide range of age groups and varying levels of mobility challenges. By utilizing specialized treatment protocols, you will help clients increase their independence and regain their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid DC license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• You must have a clean professional record, free from board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques is essential, enabling you to deliver hands-on care effectively.
• Demonstrated competence in developing and implementing comprehensive exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings will significantly enhance your candidacy. A background that includes treating various musculoskeletal conditions and familiarity with modern therapeutic modalities is highly valued. Additionally, a proven track record of implementing successful rehabilitation programs and achieving positive patient outcomes is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
