Construction Operations Manager

Operations Manager – Concrete Cutting & Demolition | Memphis, TN Penhall Company is looking for a hands‑on Construction Operations Manager to help lead our growing Memphis team. This isn't a corporate office job. It's a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, keeping crews moving, coordinating equipment, and making sure jobs are ready to go each morning. You'll work closely with the Branch Manager to support daily operations, help field teams succeed, and deliver excellent service to our customers throughout the Mid-South. If you've worked in construction, the skilled trades, equipment rental, utilities, or a similar fast‑paced environment, we'd love to talk with you. What You'll Do: Coordinate daily schedules for field crews, trucks, and equipment. Work with Account Managers to ensure projects are staffed and ready to go. Help dispatch employees, equipment, and materials to job sites. Support field crews by solving scheduling and operational challenges throughout the day. Track equipment, inventory, and job completion information. Maintain communication between the office, shop, and field personnel. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure quality standards are met. Assist the Branch Manager with labor planning, equipment utilization, and daily operations. Help create an organized, efficient, team‑first work environment. What We're Looking For: Two or more years of experience in construction operations, dispatch, scheduling, field coordination, or a related role. Experience working with field crews in construction, utilities, demolition, equipment rental, industrial services, or similar industries. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Comfortable working both in the office and around the shop or job sites. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel. A positive, team‑oriented leader who enjoys helping others succeed. No college degree is required . We value experience, work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
