Java and Python Developer

Salary: $127,000 - 167,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on coding skills
• Hands-on expertise designing, developing, and deploying critical full-stack applications using Java and Python-based services
• Understanding of the modern web application stack, from frontend and backend through production
• Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and databases
• Experience building and maintaining applications with Java, Python, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Ability to work independently with little direction
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with an interest in technologys impact on the hospitality industry

• Build, enhance, and operate high-quality software across Java- and Python-based systems
• Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and operate software components and services
• Follow consistent development practices, using shared tools and reusable components and maintaining clear documentation
• Participate in code reviews and automated testing to improve software quality, reliability, and maintainability
• Debug software components and identify defects for remediation
• Follow security and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with team members to propose improvements, respectfully challenge assumptions, and raise engineering quality
• Improve workflows, share knowledge, and support faster, more reliable delivery
