BrightStar Care of St. Croix Valley is looking for a self-motivated, compassionate Home Care Scheduler to join our team! This is a people-focused position that plays an important role in ensuring our clients receive consistent, reliable care. The Home Care Scheduler is the communication hub between our clients, caregivers, and office team, making sure everyone has the information and support they need. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating with a variety of people, and finding solutions when things don't go according to plan. This is a fast-paced office environment where flexibility, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are essential to success.

As a Home Care Scheduler, you will coordinate daily schedules and serve as a key point of contact for clients and caregivers.

• Coordinate caregiver schedules to ensure client shifts are appropriately staffed and covered
• Communicate schedules, schedule changes, and important updates clearly and promptly to clients and caregivers
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients, caregivers, and members of the office team
• Respond to client and caregiver questions, concerns, and requests with compassion and professionalism
• Work closely with caregivers to ensure they have the information and support needed to provide excellent care
• Quickly identify and resolve scheduling and staffing challenges
• Manage last-minute call-offs, coverage needs, and schedule changes while maintaining a calm and solution-focused approach
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and field staff regarding ongoing care needs
• Help ensure a positive client experience from initial contact through ongoing services
• Manage incoming calls and direct questions or concerns to the appropriate team member
• Accurately document scheduling changes, client communications, and other important information
• Prioritize and re-prioritize throughout the day as client and caregiver needs change
• Work collaboratively with the office team to maintain high standards of service and care
• Participate in a shared paid on-call rotation, approximately one week per month

What We're Looking For

• Previous scheduling, staffing, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
• Home care or home health experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, families, and team members
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and changing demands
• Strong computer and office skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in stressful situations
• Flexible and willing to step in and help wherever needed
• A genuine desire to help clients and families and make a difference in their lives

• $47,840 annual salary

Schedule & Location

• Full-time
• MondayFriday
• 8:00 AM5:00 PM
• Shared paid on-call rotation, approximately one week per month
• Hudson, WI and Lake Elmo, MN office
