About the Role

We are looking for a Performance Creative Designer who can move fluidly between graphic design, motion design, and video editing, and who has built genuinely effective AI-assisted workflows into how they work. This role exists to feed Meta's Andromeda-era delivery system, which rewards a high volume of truly distinct creative concepts rather than minor variations on a single idea.

You'll work side by side with our media buying team, turning performance data into new creative hypotheses and shipping ads that are both high quality and fast. We believe AI is a force multiplier: it should make you faster and help you explore more creative territory, but never lower the bar on creative quality.

What You'll Do

• Concept, design, and produce performance ads across static, motion, and video formats for Meta, with adaptations for other paid social placements as needed.
• Partner with media buyers to review performance data, identify winning and fatiguing patterns, and translate insights into new concepts, hooks, angles, and formats.
• Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows for ideation, image generation, video generation, editing, voiceover, upscaling, resizing, and versioning.
• Produce creative diversity at scale: distinct visual styles, personas, messaging angles, and formats (UGC-style, product demos, testimonials, motion graphics, etc.)
• Edit short-form video with a strong sense of pacing, hooks in the first seconds, captions, and platform-native conventions.
• Uphold brand standards across multiple client accounts while knowing when and how to test outside them.
• Deliver organized, correctly sized, clearly named assets that make launching and reading tests easy for the buying team.
• Stay current on emerging AI tools and platform changes, and bring new approaches to the team with a clear point of view on what's actually useful.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design, motion design, and video editing, ideally in performance marketing, paid social, or a DTC/agency environment.
• A portfolio that demonstrates high-quality static, motion, and video work, including direct-response or performance ads.
• Demonstrated, hands-on AI workflows in production (not just experimentation). Examples might include image generation (Nano Banana, Higgsfield, etc.), video generation (Runway, Kling, Veo, etc.), AI voice (ElevenLabs or similar), and AI-assisted editing and upscaling tools.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and/or equivalents like Figma, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• A clear understanding of what makes paid social creative perform: hooks, thumb-stopping visuals, clear offers, social proof, and native-feeling formats.
• Comfort working with data. You don't need to be an analyst, but you should be curious about metrics like hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS, and use them to inform your work.
• A deep understanding of the pros, cons and limitations of AI tools, knowing which tools and workflows are appropriate for each project.
• The judgment to spot when AI output isn't good enough, and the craft skills to fix it or do it by hand.
• Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego approach to feedback and iteration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Meta Ads Manager or creative testing frameworks.
• Copywriting ability for hooks, on-screen text, and scripts.
• Familiarity with automation tools or prompt engineering beyond design-specific AI apps.
• Experience in health, wellness, finance, or CPG, verticals.

What Success Looks Like

• Within 30 days: You're onboarded to our client accounts, brand guidelines, and reporting, and you're shipping creative for live tests.
• Within 90 days: You've built repeatable AI-assisted workflows that meaningfully increase our creative output and concept diversity, and your work is contributing to measurable performance gains.
• Ongoing: The media buying team sees you as a true partner in strategy, not just production.
