Senior Customer Service Specialist (Contract) Location: Des Peres, MO — onsite for training, hybrid after Type: Contract – $37.00/hour Duration: through 04/30/2027 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST 3 openings About the Role Our client, a major financial services firm, is rolling out a new system and is hiring three Customer Service Specialists to support internal branch associates through the transition. This is a high-volume phone support role — roughly 50–60 calls per day — helping associates get answers on new systems and technology. The first 4–5 weeks are fully onsite in Des Peres for training; after that the role is approximately 50% remote, with schedule flexibility determined by leadership. Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from branch associates with questions related to a new system implementation Educate callers on new systems and technology being rolled out across the firm Provide accurate information and reliable solutions while meeting call quality and efficiency expectations Partner with team members to support call volume Participate in monthly department meetings and periodic training Requirements 3+ years of call center experience (high-volume contact center environment required) Comfort learning and navigating multiple technology systems Ability to explain complex information clearly and handle difficult conversations Strong learning agility High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience with a contact management system such as Salesforce Contract role — this is not a temp-to-hire position.
