Together, we're improving health and improving lives.LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Ft Worth, TX (76104)Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm (rotating; requested as needed)Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel between client and PSC environmentsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment1 or more years' experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric)Current or prior LabCorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:Able to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to work in a fast paced / high volume work environmentBe 21 years of age or olderHave a valid driver's license and clean driving recordReliable transportation neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionThis role will work in our patient service center setting to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.
