Join our friendly, fast-paced Office. In this position, you'll help our providers deliver excellent patient care within a friendly, efficient, and professional setting.

Working alongside our providers and clinical staff, the Medical Assistant/Front Desk supports patient care, clinical procedures, and the daily rhythm of the medical center. We're looking for someone organized and adaptable who does well in a busy healthcare environment. Pay is competitive and based on experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.

Responsibilities

Record vital signs, patient history, and chief complaints accurately. Get patients ready for exams and support providers during procedures. Carry out clinical tasks within your scope, such as administering medications, injections, point-of-care testing, and collecting specimens where needed. Keep EHR documentation current and precise.

Help manage patient flow, referrals, and follow-ups as providers direct. Lend a hand with appointment scheduling and administrative work as needed. Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and safety guidelines at all times.

Treat every patient with compassion, respect, and professionalism.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical procedures and effective communication.
• Proven experience in dermatology and/or Rheumatology, outpatient experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems), EMR/EHR management tools, and medical office management software.
• Skilled in phlebotomy techniques, medication administration procedures, and vital intake
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle intake processes efficiently while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
