National Sales Specialist

Article Student Living is looking for a National Sales Specialist (NSS) to join our team to help grow the portfolio and lead leasing and marketing goals from the corporate team to the site level. As a brand ambassador and champion of Article Student Living properties, the NSS will partner with on-site staff to ensure occupancy and renewal goals. You will also create marketing plans, train on-site staff, analyze market trends, and present to colleagues in operations, asset management, or other areas to support these trends. You will travel up to 75% of the time to properties throughout the portfolio that require proximity to a major airport. You will report to the Director of Leasing and Property Management. This position is remote with 75% travel. The pay range is $65,000-$70,000, plus an annual bonus. Responsibilities Implement marketing techniques and plans to secure 100% occupancy at each property Develop property marketing plans with leadership; lead the training of professional and student staff of marketing/leasing projects and lead the execution of marketing plans at the property level Partner with Regional Managers to propose any necessary rate adjustments with supported documentation Traffic demographics and response to market trends Monitor and react to weekly occupancy and leasing reports and statistics Participate in and conduct market competition surveys Compile and submit all required reports within the requested time frames Conduct or oversee the completion of follow-up techniques Help present programs and set up displays at University functions.
