Job Overview 10,000 Sign on Bonus - Regional resource responsible for providing PET/CT scanning coverage and supporting team members in the field with training and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Produce high‑quality diagnostic PET/CT images. Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications and aseptic injection techniques. Maintain radiation safety and regulatory compliance, including documentation when working with radioactive materials. Partner with local Account Development Directors, physician groups, and radiology/clinic directors to manage PET/CT software, customer portal, scanning protocols, and quality issues. Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (e.g., monitors, PACS, coils). Assist the sales team with start‑ups and new business as needed. Perform clinical competency and team member evaluations once internal milestones are met. Provide scanning coverage in various locations/states across the region. Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience. NMTCB or ARRT (N) state license, as required. CPR certification (as applicable). Valid state driver’s license. 3+ years of experience as a nuclear technologist in high‑pressure, high‑visibility environments with regular patient satisfaction surveys. Experience managing business relationships with physicians and customers. Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments. Ability to work at multiple locations. Organizational and multi‑tasking skills. Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs. 90% travel may be required. Knowledge and experience with multiple OEMs and vendors such as GE, Siemens, and Philips. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Physical & Travel Requirements May be exposed to outside weather conditions during patient transport on a mobile unit. May be exposed to a strong magnetic field. May encounter blood/body fluids and infectious or communicable diseases, environmental hazards such as noise, and travel. More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk, repetitive hand/arm/leg movements, see/communicate with patients.
