Rants Plumbing is a  family-owned, mom-and-pop plumbing company that has proudly served  Boulder City for over 80 years . We are looking for an  experienced service plumber / journeyman plumber who wants  steady local work , a respectful work environment, and to be part of a company with deep roots in the community.

This position is  primarily service work , not large new construction.
Approximately 90% of all work is in Boulder City.

Applicants  must have reliable transportation to Boulder City .
Company truck stays at the shop and does not go home.

This is an  immediate hire for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Residential and light commercial  service plumbing
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems
• Work with  cast iron piping, sewer lines, and sewage drains
• Perform  drain cleaning and snaking (including main lines)
• Copper soldering , pipe repair, and replacement
• Install and service:
• Water heaters
• Shower valves
• Toilets
• Faucets and fixtures
• Troubleshoot leaks and system failures efficiently
• Occasional small remodels or light new-build plumbing (very limited)
• Communicate clearly with customers and maintain professionalism
• Keep work areas, tools, and vehicles clean and organized
• Follow all plumbing codes and safety standards

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

• Journeyman plumber or equivalent hands-on service experience
• Strong background in  service plumbing (not production new construction)
• Solid experience with:
• Cast iron drain systems
• Sewer and drain snaking
• Copper soldering
• Shower valve installation and repair
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls
• Good problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation to Boulder City
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Nevada plumbing license a plus (not required for the right candidate)
