Job Overview \n

Industrial Piping & Welding LLC (IPW) is hiring an experienced and safety-focused Industrial Pipe Welder to support mechanical and industrial piping projects throughout the Wasatch Front. This role involves high-precision TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems in mechanical rooms, boiler systems, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities \n

• \n

  Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) pipe welding

\n
• \n

  Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems

\n
• \n

  Produce welds that meet B31.3 code requirements and pass X-ray inspection

\n
• \n

  Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols

\n
• \n

  Prepare pipe and materials for welding, including fit-up and tack welding

\n
• \n

  Operate welding equipment and power tools safely

\n
• \n

  Work closely with pipefitters and field crews

\n
• \n

  Maintain clean and safe job sites

\n
• \n

  Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures

\n

Qualifications \n

\n
• Required:\n
  \n
  • \n

    4 to 5 years of industrial pipe welding experience

  \n
  • \n

    Strong proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding

  \n
  • \n

    Ability to pass a B31.3 weld test to X-ray standards

  \n
  • \n

    Solid blueprint and welding symbol interpretation skills

  \n
  • \n

    High attention to detail and quality

  \n
  • \n

    Physically able to lift materials and work in industrial environments
