We are the largest refrigeration Remanufacturing Facility in North America! At Perfectemp Refrigeration we have been dedicated to serving the refrigeration industry for over 25 years.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. Strongly recommend anyone in the Philadelphia and Harrisburg, PA area to apply. If you have strong electrical and mechanical skills and enjoy working in diverse environments, this is the opportunity for you.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical repair. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment in various settings. The technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety standards.

Duties

Install, service, and repair HVAC/R refrigeration systems and components.
Performs routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
Wire new systems, including electrical and control wiring.
Perform metal cutting and drilling for system repairs.
Work in a variety of environments, including cold storage facilities.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of all systems.
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
Ability to order materials and maintain a stocked vehicle.
Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site.

Requirements

EPA Certification required.
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record to travel between job sites.
Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R industry or similar field.
Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
Familiarity with refrigeration systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Professional interaction with coworkers and customers.
Ability to work out of town and on a flexible schedule.
Welding experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
