Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine functional status and rehabilitation needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs that focus on the specific recovery goals identified in collaboration with patients and healthcare providers.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions that may include exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques within established guidelines and ethical practices.
• Deliver education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic exercises, the correct usage of assistive devices, and strategies for effective self-management outside therapy sessions.
• Actively participate in case reviews and team meetings to ensure continuity of care and proactively address any patient concerns.
• Prioritize and manage a caseload effectively while determining daily staffing needs and coordinating care assignments with other team members.
• Document all interactions, treatment plans, and patient progress meticulously within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to support accurate billing and ongoing patient care monitoring.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach is rooted in understanding each patient's individual story and using evidence-based practices to facilitate their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• A commitment to providing empathetic and effective patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• While no prior experience is required, familiarity with rehabilitation technology and techniques is a plus.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to build rapport with patients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
