Job Title Human Resources Assistant Location New Ulm, MN Job Type Contract Compensation $20-30/hr Industry Manufacturing About the Role Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing and industrial innovation space, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support their HR team at their New Ulm, Minnesota location. This is a fully onsite, Monday–Friday role operating during core business hours. Job Description The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR team, with a strong focus on recruiting coordination and onboarding activities. This role helps ensure efficient hiring processes and supports day-to-day HR functions through scheduling, documentation, and system updates. Key Responsibilities Administer employment-related assessments (including MESP and GAMB tests), including candidate communication and follow-up Support HR staff and hiring managers with applicant tracking and administrative recruiting tasks Coordinate and assist with new hire orientation activities Print, organize, and scan onboarding documentation into HR systems such as Workday Provide general administrative support across HR functions Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion Preferred Qualifications Experience in administrative support, HR coordination, recruiting, or onboarding Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR platforms such as Workday Experience supporting hiring processes, including interviews and candidate communication Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field Benefits Dahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
