Assistant Manager in Training

Monitor productivity and adjust employee hours as needed. Inventory and paperwork as needed. Completecoupon log, spot checks and post close reconciliation during shifts worked. FoodOrdering as needed. Track food rotation in cooler, freezer anddry goods. Abilityto successfully open and close the store. Abilityto successfully complete a catering order. Ability to bake bread according to Subway standards. Work with the Store Manager on covering shifts and cover shiftswhen needed. Maintain Subway and Health Departmentoperational and cleanliness standards. Attend new promotional Window calls asrequested. Conduct on-the-job training for new employees. Monitor trainees to measure progress, update training log andtraining requirements. Report on progress of employeesunder guidance during training periods. Assistemployees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasksrelated to their position. Develop positive workingrelationship with employees they are training to help adapt them to the storesculture. Job Specifications Proficientunderstanding of Subway policies and procedures. Leadershipskills to effectively direct trainees and other employees and ability toproperly evaluate comprehension and application of subject material. Thisposition requires initiative, motivation, creativity and ability to understandmany areas of Store Operations. Thetraining area is one of constant change. This position must be able to reactpositively to these developments. Abilityto communicate professionally with all levels of management, employees andcustomers. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills are necessary to produce and deliverquality training. JobPrerequisites Must be at least 18 years of age upon promotion. Must have flexibility to work allshifts. Must have excellent customer serviceskills. Intermediate math skills to be able tocount back change can reconcile money. Must pass a background check. A valid driver’s license and proof ofauto insurance is required for all management positions who drive to the bank.
